Difficult one Susanne. Too many books to choose from.
All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others. George Orwell, “Animal Farm” ?
Since Paul got to 1984/Orwell first,
I’ll choose ‘The Godfather’ by Mario Puzo.
So many sentences, the part when the Don gives lighting strike speech to the heads of the 5 families on his return from Sicily. Luca Brasi’s death “sleeps with the fishes.” Or when Michael meets Apollonia and is hit by the ‘bolt’.
Too many! have to find the book.
